The Chocolate Book Tag

So, I don't do many tags but when I saw that Jazmen over at This Girl Reads A Lot did this tag, I just had to!  It combines a couple of my favorite things: chocolate and books.  What more can a girl ask for, right?  Anyway, this is a super fun tag and feel free to join in and do it yourself or answer along in the comments!

Dark Chocolate
A book that covers a hard topic

While this book is actually really sweet and swoon-worthy and funny, it also deals with seriously hard topics.  It's an extremely emotional read, as many of you know, I'm sure.  But it's definitely still worth it.

You can find my review here.

White Chocolate
Your favorite light hearted/humorous read

I love this book so much.  There are some sad and hard moments but for the most part, it was super light and exciting and just such a fun book.  This was the first contemporary novel I really loved!

You can find my review here.

Milk Chocolate
A book that has a lot of hype that you're dying to read

I've heard so many awesome things about this book and I still haven't read it!  I'm waiting until I finish rereading The Mortal Instrument series so then I can read City of Heavenly Fire, the final installment in said series, and then I will buy and read this book!  (P.S. I'm on City of Fallen Angels right now so I'm close).

Chocolate With A Caramel Center
A book that makes you feel all gooey in the middle

I love this book so much and I love the characters and the plot and the relationships and the Garrett's familial bonds .  Just thinking about this book makes me smile.  I actually want to go reread it right now!  (Maybe after I finally read We Were Liars).

You can find my review here.

Wafer Free Kit Kat
A book that surprised you lately

It was, luckily, a good surprise.  I went into this thinking I was in for a sweet, romantic, and light read but what I got was something that touched a lot deeper than that.  The relationship between the two main characters was amazing and completely realistic and I loved it.

You can find my review here.

Snickers
A book that you're going nuts over

This book hasn't even released yet.  I'm dying to get my hands on it, though.  There's so much about it that I adore already.  The cover is amazing and the blurb sounds wonderfully creepy and unique.  I'm going crazy waiting for it.

Hot Chocolate With Marshmellows
A book you turn to for comfort

This series.  The first books that really motivated me to read.  Going back to these books is like going back to an old friend I love.  So it's no wonder they're my comfort books.

Box of Chocolates
A book that has a little something for everyone

You like historical books?  It's set in Victorian London.  You like romance?  Holy hot swoon-worhty boys galore.  You like adventure and action?  The characters hunt demons.  You like fantasy/paranormal?  The characters are the descendants of angels.  You like horror?  I mentioned the demons, right?

Boom.  Something for everything.

You can find my review here.

This tag was super fun!  What books would you choose for this questions?

P.S.:  Wonderland's Reader recently turned two!  To celebrate, we're giving away some awesome prizes such as a $15 Amazon gift card and some sweet books!  Check it out here.

  1. This tag was super cute and made me craving chocolate at the end of it! I agree with a lot of your choices, especially Anna and the French Kiss and Clockwork Angel!
