Okay, I saw this little (or not so little) surgery over at Rachel's blog, A Perfection Called Books, and I absolutely loved the idea! So I decided I would try it out because, hey, I can. So, without further ado...
Author You've Read the Most Books From
Definitely Jennifer L. Armentrout. She has so many awesome series and standalones and I'm in love with every single one of them. From the Lux series to Don't Look Back to all of her NA novels. I'm actually rereading the Lux series right now while I procrastinate reading City of Heavenly Fire.
Best Sequel Ever
The Evolution of Mara Dyer! This is the second book in the Mara Dyer series and it's crazy good. Like, I thought I loved the first book and then I read this one and died of feels.
Currently Reading
I'm reading a ton of books right now. Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout, City of Fallen Angels (I'm debating just stopping rereading the series and starting City of Heavenly Fire) by Cassandra Clare, and Mortal Danger by Ann Aguirre.
Drink of Choice While Reading
Either tea or water! Normally water though.
E-reader or Physical Book
Physical books, always. It's just a different experience reading when you can feel the pages and smell that wonderful book scent. Buuuuut...since I'm going off to college in a couple months and can't bring my entire bookshelf with me, I've been trying to buy more books on my nook so I can bring more books with me.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Wanted To Dated in High School
Ha, probably? No, no, I would definitely have wanted to date Daemon Black, Noah Shaw, William Herondale, Jack Deveaux, Percy Jackson, Kaidan Rowe, Aaron Warner, and Jase Garrett in high school. Hell, I definitely want to date them now!
Glad You Gave This Book a Chance
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick. I had not expected to love this book as much as I do but, hey, I'm not complaining!
Hidden Jem Book
Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton! I adore this book! I read it a long time ago and still need to finish up the series but it is seriously such an amazing read!
Important Moment in Your Reading Life
Discovering Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I know, I know. I can hear the groans through my computer screen. But this is the book that really helped my love of reading grow. I've grown out of it now but it'll always have a special place in my heart.
Just Finished
Tease by Sophie Jordan! I'll have a review up within the next couple of weeks!
Kinds of Books You Won't Read
Religious books, nonfiction (unless it's forced on me), and that's pretty much it. All I can think of at least...I like to be open minded with my reading material. However, I only review YA and NA books on my blog. Right now, at least.
Longest Book You've Read
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling, coming in at a whopping 870 pages (according to Goodreads).
Major Book Hangover Because of...
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. Tears for daaaaaays.
Number of Book Cases You Own
I own two but really, I only personally use one. The other is full of children books from when my brother and I were really little. I do have a huge drawer full of books though, too.
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare! Too many times to count...
Preferred Place to Read
Honestly, I really dislike all the places I read now because they get so uncomfortable. I really want a bungee chair from Target because I could read in one of those all day!
Quote You Love From a Book You've Read
“Words, I think, are such unpredictable creatures.
No gun, no sword, no army or king will ever be more powerful than a sentence. Swords may cut and kill, but words will stab and stay, burying themselves in our bones to become corpses we carry into the future, all the time digging and failing to rip their skeletons from our flesh.” -Ignite Me by Taherah Mafi.
This quote really stuck with me after reading. It reminds me to always be careful with what I say to people, especially when I'm angry.
Reading Regret
That I wasted so much of my childhood not reading!
Series You Started and Need to Finish
The Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan. I've been reading The House of Hades for like, five months. I love the book I just lost a bit of interest.
Three All Time Favorite Books
Oh gosh, you're going to make me do this? Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling, Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, and Poison Princess by Kresley Cole...but these choice change everyday and with my mood.
Unapologetic Fangirl for
Any Jennifer L. Armentrout book. Seriously, read her books.
Very Excited for This Release More Than Others
Thorn Jack by Katherine Harbour! This book sounds amazing and it's a debut novel so, yeah, it's a little nerve wracking but still...it sounds like something I would absolutely love! And, luckily, it comes out TODAY!!!
Worst Bookish Habit
Reading multiple books at once!
X Marks the Spot! Start at the Top Left Hand Corner of Your Shelf and Pick the 27 Book!
Splintered by AG Howard!
Your Last Bookish Purchase
Lux: The Beginnings by Jennifer L. Armentrout!
ZzZ Snatcher! The Last Book to Keep You Up Way Too Late
Tease by Sophie Jordan!
This was a really fun survey to do! If any of you do it, leave you links in the comments below and I'll check out your posts!

I definitely want to do this! I really want to read Tease and Splintered. Great answers! :)
ReplyDeleteYou should! It's a lot of fun :) Tease and Splintered are so good! I hope you get the chance to read them soon!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Haha Twilight will always have a special place in my heart as well. I believe it is the first YA book I've ever read and I'm so happy I discovered it! The movie, I think, is poorly done though. Kiersten Stewart can't act :| .
ReplyDeleteThe movie is very poorly done but I loved the twist in the last one! I tried rereading the book a couple of weeks ago and I was surprised by how much it had changed in my eyes!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Inspired by your post, I did this survey too! :D It was a lot of fun. And I loved your answers! I too regret not reading more as a child. I was such a time waster. -_____-
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! ^_^
