Top Ten Books That Feature Non-Human Characters!

Top Ten Books That Feature Non-Human Characters!

One of my favorite series!  This book prominently features faeries (and tons of other really interesting and kind of creepy creatures).  The main focus is definitely on the faeries though!  While they're human-like, there's some pretty major differences that I really enjoyed reading about!

In this novel, the main character, Nalia is a jinni!  She grants wishes to whoever holds her bottle.  It's been a while since I read this book but I loved it when I did!  And I just found out that there's actually two more books in the series!  So I'm excited to read those ones soon!

This middle grade novel is so sweet and so heart breaking and half of it is told from the POV of a fox, Pax!  It's a really cool novel and interesting and I loved reading from these different POVs!   It's not often that you get to read from the POV of an animal so it's interesting when you do!

Another book I read a while ago!  This one featured trolls, something I haven't seen before reading this or since in YA.  It was a really unique story and super readable.  Thinking about it makes me want to reread the series! 

I can't have a list of non-human characters without including Twilight!  This was the first book that really introduced me to YA and kinda kicked off an obsession with vampires (which, thankfully, has fizzled out over the years). 

I really loved this take on Angels -- it was a really cool, darker take on them at a time where there was a lot of angel stories being released! I still haven't finished the series but I want to soon!

 Aliens!  I love this book (and series) so much!  It's such a fun and hilarious story and I adore the characters.  I never thought that aliens would be so interesting (or attractive), but this book totally makes it happen!

This was surprisingly more difficult for me than I thought it would be, especially since I tried not to double up on the non-human characters!  Have you read any of these books?  Which non-human creature is your favorite?  Let me know in the comments below!
