Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka His Royal Hotness, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant; hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.
Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn't bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.
Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.
Dating a prince isn't what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.
There's a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they've traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces, and haven't chopped anyone's head off lately, the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.
But to Olivia, Nicholas is worth it.
Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

Oh man, you guys, this book was a roller coaster.  There were so many emotions and frustrations; seriously, my feels were all mixed up while I was reading.  What I do know is that I really, really liked it.  There were so many amazing moments and characters!  Plus, it was so swoon-worthy!  I need to find me a prince, guys.  Hopefully one exactly like Nicholas.

As the summary suggests, the main focus of this book was the growing relationship between Olivia and Nicholas.  Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved the conversations and banter between them.  Seriously, it was hilarious witnessing their exchanges.  I mean, Olivia straight up slammed a pie in Nicholas' face at one point and it was so majestic.  They were both individually dealing with their own lives and problems but together, those stresses dissipated.  I loved seeing their relationship grow and evolve as the story went on.  Nicholas was like, the perfect book boyfriend: he had a dirty mouth and a heart of gold.  Olivia was an amazing heroine: strong, sassy, and independent.  Definitely someone I could see myself hanging out with.  Together, they were magic!

As far as the story goes, I really enjoyed it.  The plot didn't move too quickly but I loved watching the relationship grow between Olivia and Nicholas and seeing all the situations they were put into.  The problems they faced, despite the kinda unreal situation, were never sugar coated.  Everything always felt so high stakes.  Even when their relationship was going great, I always had a knot in my stomach because of the impossible position they were put in.  It's kind of hard to explain without giving anything away . . . lets just say that I was always invested and engaged in the story!

I absolutely love Emma Chase's writing style and this book really solidified her as an auto-read author for me!  It was so interesting and swoon-worthy and the relationship between the two leads kept me on my toes.  I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of this series once it releases!
