All I Want for Christmas is...

Books, of course!  Could there be anything else?

If you're like me, Christmas is a magical time full of family and friends, relaxation, and lots of bright and shiny distractions (I'm looking at you, Christmas lights) but it's also time for presents! *squee*

As a *cough* fairly avid reader, I find myself constantly making grabby hands at the books I don't yet have in my possession.  What can I say?  I want to own all the books ever.  I need them all so they can amaze me with their words and look gorgeous on my shelves which I'm in desperate need of more of and just be all around awesome in general.

Unfortunately, I am a college student and all of my money has to go to boring practical things like tuition, books, rent, and, you know, food.  Turns out your cannot live off of eating words.  Who woulda thought?

So, to get my book fix for at least a couple months, my main request when my mom asks what I want to Christmas is books!  Honestly, just a long list of books I've been making eyes at for the past couple months.  And this year, let me tell you, I am super excited about the books I've asked for!

Bonus
I also asked for a couple month subscription to Upper Case Box!  This is such an awesome concept that I've seen floating around the blogosphere for a while so I'm really hoping I end up getting a subscription for Christmas.  It'll be like receiving a present every month which is totally awesome!

I'm super excited for Christmas and other holidays to really kick into gear!  Do you normally ask for books during the holidays?  What books are you looking to getting this holiday season?
