Feature & Follow #21

Feature & Follow is a weekly meme hosted over at Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

This week's question is...

Q:  Share something you've learned about book blogging in the last month.

A:  I learned the proper way to request books for review from publishers!  Before, I'd always been really unsure what to put into the emails I sent them but after talking to my twitter friend, Tara, I got a better idea of what publishers want and need to know before sending out books to bloggers!

What did you learn about blogging this month?

Leave links in the comments below and I'll be sure to check out your blog!  Please follow via GFC or Bloglovin'!

  1. Good answer. It's so true. You can't just say, "hey, can you send this book". It takes professionalism, especially when you're seriously trying to get a book that's beyond popular.

  2. Wow, I honestly had no idea that there was a certain way you had to do it. I've only recently been putting myself out there asking for more review copies of books. So hopefully I'm doing it correctly. :) happy Friday!

  3. I agree with Shane, great answer! I think publishers really appreciate it if we give them all the links they need, and the numbers of followers and everything.

I'm following on Bloglovin, Goodreads and Twitter.

    Here's my F&F post here!

  4. I haven't actually requested any books directly from the publisher. I've been too intimidating and worried of rejection.
