I swear, Sarah is trying to kill us all with these books.  They are just so damn good.  Seriously, so good.  And so painful.  But mostly good.  I've been in a serious reading slump lately and this was the only book I've picked up and just haven't been able to put it down.  I found myself desperate to continue reading and to figure out what was going to happen with these characters.  Also!  I'm genuinely enjoying all of the different POVs in this series.  Normally, I shy away from books that have more than two or three POVs but I adore this one (as I'm sure you've figured out.  Seriously, you just need to read this series.

So, being as this is the fifth book in this series, I can't go into a ton of detail without spoiling things from the previous books.  I will tell you, though, that I feel like this book is possibly one of the best in the series.  It was just so *clenches fists* amazing.  There was a ton of action, twists I didn't see coming, wonderful character growth, and tons of romantic tension and steam.  I love so many of the ships in this book.

Sarah has a way of making me absolutely love characters that I used to hate.  I don't know how she does it.  But there I was, reading this book and suddenly in love with Manon and Lorcan???  Like, genuinely enjoying the chapters from their POV.  I used to hate reading Manon chapters (sorry) because I just was way more interested in the other characters.  But Manon was one of my favorite characters in this book.  She was so incredibly powerful and I loved the direction that her story is going.  ALSO: Elide is a freaking badass.  'Nuff said.

Okay, seriously, guys, you need to read this book.  And if you haven't started this series yet . . . DO IT.  It's so worth!  I was completely hooked after the second book and I'm so glad I continued reading this series.

^^^ Me, about every character in this series.
