Welcome to Wonderland's Reader!

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my blog better!

About the Blog

Wonderland's Reader was made on June 11, 2012.  It went through two name changes and several different looks before becoming what it is today!  At the time, I made it as something to do when I was bored or when I really had something to say about a book I had read.  However, it has become much more!  I never thought that it would become as big as it has in my life but I'm happy it has.  I have found tons of new books and made so many awesome friends through this blog.

Wonderland's Reader focuses mainly on Young Adult books but it's not unheard of to find the occasional New Adult or Middle Grade books featured here, too.  There are reviews, interviews, giveaways, guests posts, features, and contests as well as some posts tracking my progress with my own writing and a ridiculous amount of Supernatural gifs because they have one for everything. Hope you enjoy!

My name is Ash.  I am a twenty-something well into my college career.  If you would have told me when I was younger that I would run a book reviewing blog, I probably would have laughed and offered you the help you so obviously needed.  I didn't really like to read until about 2008 when I was introduced to Twilight (I know, I know).  Up until that time, my only reading had happened in the classroom.  After finishing up Breaking Dawn for the hundredth time in a row, I figured that I might as well look for another book to read.  I mean, Twilight couldn't be the only awesome read out there, right?

From there I slowly began to discover the magical and totally awesome world of books.  I couldn't get enough and soon, I was inspired to write my own stories.  Now, I'm an avid reader, an enthusiastic writer, and a major in Creative Writing.

When I'm not wandering around the worlds inside my head or in others, I can be found collecting pretty composition books, exploring the Pacific North West, obsessing over Dean and Sam Winchester, or playing with my pets (one of which can be found in the picture above).
