My Review:  These books drive me absolutely insane.  In the most positive way possible.  It's just . . . they make me question every single little thing that happens.  It's a constant puzzle for me to solve.  So many unanswered questions and false leads.  And it doesn't help that Mara isn't exactly a reliable narrator.  We never know if what she hears/sees/experiences is true or not.

That being said, I adore these books.  They are some of my very favorites.  Even right now as I'm writing this review all I want to do is slip this book off of my shelf and begin rereading it.  Michelle Hodkin has woven such a mind tangling, addictive, amazing world and I just get sucked into it every time that I open one the books.  There is so much mystery, action, romance, and little clues scattered throughout.  All these elements just continually pull me into the story.

The characters are one of the things that make this book amazing.  Mara is absolutely wonderful.  Her humor and the way she handles things really makes me just love her.  She's a likable character and I sympathize with her completely.  I couldn't imagine being in her shoes.  She feels like she can't confide in anyone because everyone thinks she is crazy.  Well, everyone besides Noah.  And that brings me to my book boyfriend.  Noah is . . . Noah.  He's absolutely amazing.  Sarcastic, funny, hot, and . . . I can't even describe him!  I love everything he does.  He's rough around the edges and has many flaws but on the inside he's such a softy and so adorable and I just have so many feels for this guy!  The supporting characters are great too.  They are all easy to remember and feel close to.

The ending of this book threw me completely off guard and I just . . . I can't even get it through my head.  How can that have happened?!  I need the next (and last) book immediately.  There are so many unanswered questions and unresolved issues.  I just need to know what happens next!  If you haven't read this book yet, I don't know what you're waiting for!  It's absolutely amazing!
